Yep...I own two actually. One is a Custom Made one that was a proto for a certain famous individual (I got lucky and was able to swindle....ah, I mean, purchase it) and the other is an RG that I use on when I go on the road. Kbaim seen it and it does the job for me. OC has a nice 7 stringer and newly aquired bass......

Way, Way off...

SFAM was recorded with the Ibeenhadz...that album came out 10/26/99 there was obviously some R+D by late 2001/ early 02 before the JP 6s+7s started shipping...Live Scenes came out on 9/11/01...and subsequently got yanked due to the cover art...JP started using EBMM Protos on tour for 2000 SFAM tour (after the record was in the can), I saw the winter show at Roseland (before the summer show that LSFNY was recorded at) w/ the Dregs and he'd played 1 sparkley bluish 6 proto...7's and the Home guitar were Ibanez at that show...by the LSFNY show he had several protos...

Oooooo I gotta jump in and play with this one
Hey OC - My Blue Dawn was "born on" 6/15/01 so you need to note that JP guitars shipped in "mid" 2001 not "late 2001/2001" - Just 'cause I know you are a stickler for details and all

btw OC, that case of strings you earned (re:Lenny) is ready to ship out for Friday, just email me the addy you want them sent to. And for those of you out of the loop who are wondering how I can roll my eyes at the above post, OC and I know each other and he knows I'm teasing about his detail oriented mind :D

Hahahaha. My MD has a 2001 date in the bridge pup's route...pretty sweet to have an earlier one stack up with the newer DG...awesome. Ha!

Pete-o...actually considering it was the first run it may not have shipped at the same time...hahaha, didn't Mr John have to sign it or something?

The "Scenes From New York" Live DVD/CD was the first time he recorded with the EBMM (prototypes actually) and "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" was the first studio CD he used them on.
