What's dream gig? One night, one venue with one band.... oh and one Music Man from YOUR collection!

I thought about this after watching the Foo Fighters Live at Wembley Arena DVD. Their bass player Nate Mendel is solid but I (conceitedly) told myself... "I could do that"!

So as of today*.... for me it would be stage left of Dave Grohl surrounded 360 degrees by 90,000+ screaming.... And I'd bring the white/stealth Bongo, no doubt!

*I reserve the right to update my pick later in the day. :D

Toss up between the foo's and iron maiden. My sr5 every day !

I watched the movie about the food fighters and I love the part where Nate was talking about the first album he did with them when the producer said to him " yeah I think you should play a C note there and do it in time !"

He's a solid player

Wow that's a tough one...
But I'd have to say my whole world would be complete if I got to jam on stage WITH Stanley Clarke....trading off lines and licks with him would be the highlight of my life...and of course I'd bring my Stingray 4H that's been with me for 15+ yrs.

RUSH... filling in for Geddy who unfortunately has a broken finger. Its not that I can even remotely fill his shoes. But being able to stand on the same stage for 20 seconds (thats how long it would take before Mr. Lee kicks me off ) ) would be incredible. :D

Shemekia Copeland or Joss Stone w/ Sterling; Joe Louis Walker & the BOSSTALKERS w/ Bongo...
or vice-versa!

EDIT- "BossTalkers!" not the Bosstones...

Sorry, JLW:D

I'd love to play with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones or Fishbone, both with my Big Al 4 and 5. I think I could do the bosstones with some practice, but Fishbone would be hard to practice up to.

I want Will Lee's main gig...In the era before the horn section.
Bass wise I would be all over the place.

That might be boring for some but I would dig it...;)
