Just came home from seeing Dredg at the Abart Club in Zurich tonight. Phantastic band! All the band members are very solid musicians, seem to love what they do, and have fun adding lots of sounds and noises with their effect boards and various synth instruments.
The bass player, Drew Roulette, got a big fat sound out of his StingRay 5 HH, very warm and bassy but with always enough definition to make out the notes, which nicely complements and counterpoints the ringing upper register guitar chords.
In my opinion, Drew Roulette (BassPlayer feature) would make a very nice Music Man Artist. His playing is unique, he has a great sound and he can't be overheard: Great advertising for a great bass!
