Ok so i got to the top of the stairs with my bass in its bag on my back, at the top the shoulder strap went "ping" and the bass plunged to the stairs headstock first and proceeded to slide head first all he back down the stairs till it meets the wall at the bottom, also head first!

..Apparently i went white!

Opened the bag................not even out of tune!, not a scratch! heh heh i was so glad i played my MM that day!, and strangely at every session ive done lately!

...

what was that line from the Dragnet movie? ...."Reverend, you've got balls as big as church bells." Well, replace "big" with "tough" and that seems adequate here. :D

I was playing at church a few weeks ago and I placed my HH Bongo 5 on a stand while I was setting up the rest of my gear. Well, the keyboardist moved something setting off a chain reaction that ended with my Bongo falling face first, nailing a wooden stool *klank* then falling on it's face on the carpet. It all seemed to happen in slow motion. Don't worry, it was fine, not even a bent knob!:p

If it lets you down even once, then it's not worth it.
BTW i use a L***land gig bag and i'm wondering why BP doesn't design quality bags for us, Music Man players who love the portability of a quality gig bag?
Just wondering ;)

I was cringing as I read the bass-falling-down-the-stairs story, and then I breathed a sigh of relief at the end!
