I'll take Tony Williams, Buddy Rich, Joe Travers, Toss Panos, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Terri Bozzio.

But I'll go with Bonham for the list.

I went to a drum clinic of Neil's once. I must admit, that was the day I sold my set. His practice routine was mindbogling. I couldn't do it even slow. I was a decent drummer, but, I learned you have to be born with a meter inside ya, and I did not click like a great drummer should. I played out in clubs before, but I wanted to be great and had to humble myself to the point of knowing I was not capable of being in the same league as those mentioned. Neil started me on guitar which I love more than drumming and I have become a decent guitar player. I am improving daily, and have been recording and what not. For me, the change was a great welcome. That was roughly 10 years ago. Man, I am old...:D

Travis Barker?! WTF!? He is crude man. You know Joey Jordison filled in for Lars Ulrich at Download? Well my friend who is a very good drummer(and also loves Lars Ulrich) was forced to admit that Joey is as good as Lars, and that's after he was positive Lars was the best.In my opinion Joey is the best drummer anywhere in the world today, and perhaps even the best ever.

Everybody has their opinions of who is the best. I have a hard time believing this Joey dude is really the best ever though.
Since your only 15 or so, you haven't even scratched the surface of hearing other great drummers.... dead or alive.

Expand your listening to outside of Metallica and you'll re-think your "greatest drummer post".
