I feel like I'm at AA. Not that I've ever been there....yet. Anyway, I saw some dude selling an EVH Music Man for over 4 g's. I guess I'm just being American, but do you think someone would pay that much if I tried to sell them one? I have a really nice sunburst quilt top. I bought it from a store in Santa Barbara and they told me it was from Ed's personal line. I doubt it. Anyway, the serial number is 88019. Would you all hate me for trying to sell it for that much? Comments.

A guitar - any guitar - is worth what someone is willing to pay for it... HOWEVER, I've never seen an EVH sell for $4000 before, and though I know that there's an auction up there on Ebay right now, I don't believe anyone is likely to pay that much for an EVH. It's way above market value.
One anomalous auction on Ebay is NOT indicitive of a market trend. Show me five $4,000 EVHs and I'll consider that the market has lurched upward - otherwise, it's all smoke and mirrors...
