Personally, I haven't read any of them. After this last movie, I'm a lot more interested. So, I might go borrow Half-Blood Prince from the public library in my town, assuming they have it in their collection. I can't imagine that they wouldn't. I would assume that they have several.

That's like watching only the 3rd quarter of a football game! You'll miss a lot and there will be many things that make you go, "Huh?", if you don't start from the beginning, IMO anyways. They read fast and Rowling is a terrific writer.

Hey Rob,

I'm with Norrin, go read the first one first. I think its The Sorcerer's Stone? I've only read that one, but now I've seen all the movies. I'm off to the book store today to get the second one. Really is a good read.

Definitely read all of them in order...the movies are great, but the books fill in the gaps. We picked up the latest one last night after midnight and my wife is already well into it. They are really good books...they take you away to a different place.

Heh. I picked up the book this morning. I'm on page 259 after about 3 1/2 hours of solid reading.

Now i have to clean the house before I go to grab my fiancee from the airport.

So, of course, I'm goofing off online.:D

I might have to go start from the beginning. The library has 50 copies of Half-Blood Prince, and all of them are checked out.
