Dutch/belgian Musicman meeting

[NURZE]

Last weekend some MUSICMAN BASS enthousiasts held a little meeting at Hi-Gain guitars in Houten (NL). Close to 30 attendees were there, and a lot of basses were tested and examined.

Even the MM importer for NL en B was there to give information and answer your questions.

I participated as well, great fun to talk to other MusicMans.. (even though somebody managed to sneak in a Kubicki.. I guess that bass was just too far away from any MusicMan design to be denied..)

For European standards a very nice variaty of basses, and with the help of the Dutch importer (Voerman) even some unique basses, like a Reflex (first time I every saw one in Europe) and a beautifull, I mean beautifull PDN in Pearl white..

Still glad though that I am the only one witha Dargie..

Yes, one of the girls was actually the owner of the shop, can you imagine.. The other two (one was taking the picture) were the girlfriends of participants, dragged along to be bored out of their head probably..

I believe that the store sold some pichguards, strings and accessories.. I know of one person ordering a 6-string Bongo at the meeting, so I guess the music store had a good day as well.

I bought a MusicMan t-shirt..
