Excellent folks! (On the technical side) I'm assuming that I need to use a Sharpie brand marker? Although, I've been told Sharpies fade. Don't know who to believe. "Spud" - the Duncan designed pickups you showed earlier...are they available for general purchase or only in the A.L. models?

I gave the rear of my headstock a going over with some fine cutting compound and then some naphtha(lighter fluid)- that will ensure any grease/wax is removed.
I think one of mine is fading very slightly but I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

"Spud," "mbgreene," and everyone - great & helpful info once again! Out of curiousity, since the Silo comes in several variations, are the pickup routes a "universal-type (ala "swimming pool route")? Just curious.

It's been a while since someone posted a photo but the routing is kind of an odd swimming pool route - it's not "smooth" on the longer sides but almost like you took an HHH route then cleaned out the middle of it.
