Early EB Ray on ebay - 1985 Trans Red

This must be a real early one... They call it pre-EB but I think that's incorrect. Has some pre-EB features though.

Serial number appears to be B022835 - this may be a 1982 not a 1985.

Sorry, I looked again and saw the photos with date stamps on the neck cavity and end of the neck - 1985

And ***sigh*** again - what a beauty - but no bass funds.

I may be talking out of turn here, in which case apologies, but that hardware looks very shiny to me, for a 27 yr old bass - especially the tuners - no tarnishing at all. And the mutes look like the current kit - in fact the whole bass looks almost unused, except for the laquer cracks (must have a nitrocellulose finish) and the two bridge holding down bolts, which are very rusty.

Undeniably beautiful though.

Your Right this is an early Ernie Ball Stingray, The Case is not correct but that bass is Dead on.
