I've got one of the first EVH models that I love to death. The problem is that the chrome on some of the saddles is gone causing strings to break. Does anyone know where I can get 'original' replacements? They have a slight offset so the standard replacements won't do it. I emailed EBMM and they said they didn't have any.
Thanks guys.

I ended up getting the replacment and machining it till it fit and fit well. I looked high and low and was not able to find an original replacment part. Sorry but good luck to you. Please let us know what you find and what you do about this.

What did you have to do to make them fit? I may have to go that route. Thanks.

JT3, my guess is that Norm modified the metal parts, not the body. You don't want to mess with the body for fear of ruining something.

Hope this helps, Glenn |B)

The slot in the bottom where the intonation set screw holds the saddle onto the bridge was widened on one side. Then when the saddle was bolted down I had to use a different washer under the hex bolt with one side flattened. Precision dremel work.

Thanks for the help. I'll check it out. Have you used the Gotoh saddles on your EVH? I've got an EVH Amber too. I love it.
