That the was longest earthquake I've felt since I moved out to Cali in '87. I'm on the 2nd floor on my office in Woodland Hills (valley around L.A.)...and the building I work in swayed rather dramtically for a good 30 seconds.
No reports of any major damage from what I can tell on CNN and the local stations.
I'm on the 8th floor in La Jolla, and the building shook for about 15 seconds. Since I'm from Texas I thought it was a gust of wind.
That was about it. The media in LA was struggling to find some carnage to feed live and finally identified a broken water main, but that was a couple hours ago. I haven't been downstairs so I haven't seen a TV since then. I went home at lunch and all the Stingrays are fine.
