Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone knows if EB do a 7 string pack at all? Just popped a set of D'Addario 9-54s on my Universe but I miss the smoothness of the EB upper B and Es. The D'Addarios are great strings, but they tend to be a bit to aggressive in attack at first and take a too long to bed in for my liking.

HAving said that, I do like having the low B as a 54, as opposed to a 52. Anyone help?

Fourth lot down are seven string sets...

http://www.ernieball.com/products_strings_nickel.php

The .009s have a .052, .010s have a .056

You can get single .054s (bottom of the link I listed) which you could add to a regular super sliinky set.

Although I haven't seen single EBs anywhere in Scotland.

You might want to contact Strings Direct

www.stringsdirect.co.uk

to see if they can supply them. They're not listed on their website, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't have them.

Here you go...

(from Paul from Strings Direct)
"We don't stock these although we can get them quite easily ( about 2/3 days ). The price depends on what gauge you were after but the guitar strings come in packs of 6"

and

"Guitar .054 - £9 Pack of 6 ( £1.50 each )"

Add that on to their £3.99 for a set of super slinkys, you get £4.49 a set... not bad considering you'd have to pay £4.99 for a 7 string set
