EB EVH been sitting for a while

I have an EBMM EVH model (purple) thats been sitting for a while now. I stopped playing back in the late 90s, and have only had the guitar setup once or twice since then. Any recommendations on a great shop for a setup to bring this guitar back to perfection in the NY area (I am about 45min north of NYC). Looking for someone who really will give personalized attention to an instrument, not a place like sam ash.

I am going to want the bridge completely gone over, neck adjusted, neck cleaned and oiled properly, electronics checked, and i noticed that some of the black screws on the back and maybe even the black blocks in the trem have some corrosion on them....prob want those parts replaced.

Check out Toys From The Attic in White Plains...good guys, fair prices, and the repair guy used to work in the Sadowsky shop in NYC (if it's the same fella they hired a couple of years ago - I haven't visited 'em since I moved to NYC last year).

All the guitars in their shop have played pretty well when I tried 'em, and they deal mostly in used stuff so a good repair guy is a necessity: www.tfta.com

Maybe I'll try tfta....I work right in white plains, and can walk there (as well as sam ash), but I really hate the sam ash experience. Nice purple!

Are you in Jersey or New York?

I'm in Jersey about 6 miles North of Giants Stadium. I do pro setups when I'm not bogged down with work but if you wish to take it to an establised business the ONLY place I reccomend in the whole Tri State Area is Tom Doyle at T.W. Doyle Guitarworks in Washington Township, New Jersey about ten minutes away from me. He's real close to the Rockland border.

If you want me to do it for ya I'd be more than happy to. I can take care of everything you listed.
