Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the answers last time I was trolling this way.... :D
And I have a bit of a strange question;

I tune my basses to C, F, A#, D# .....so strings are always a little hard to get just right with a single pack. I play finger style.
I'd like to try some flats on my newly acquired stinger, so I'm of course looking at the group I flats.

What's the group I strings' tension like?
I only have chromes to go on so far - I've always been a rounds kinda guy.

Would I be better off getting a light gauge 5 banger set instead?

Thanks.

If you tuned a set of Group 1 EB Flats to C, F, A#, D#, tension in pounds for each string would be roughly 29, 38, 41, 42

You mentioned you have Chromes on now. At the same string gauge the EB Flats tension will be the same as Chromes. There is a good resource online for calculating the tension for these strings, PM me for more info. I won't post the link here because it's not an EB resource.
