Hi guys. I just got an Ernie Ball Musicman HD500. I am asking this only to those who are using these head. I am having an issue with this head. When i plugged the bass to the input 1 jack (0db) everything its just perfect. But then i switched to input 2 (+10db) and the first time it didn't give any sound at all, i opened the chassis, changed the preamp tube, and spray some contact cleaner. The sound was back, BUT... it is just toooooo litle (like 1/4 of Input 1) compared to input 1 and the strange thing is that the GAIN knob doesn't work with input 2, with input 1 everything is normal. Is this normal, or this head needs to be fixed? By the way i am using a Fender AVRI jazz 62.
