So before I go off and post a ebay listing here for a non EBMM item, I want to know....
1. is it ok on the forum?
2. where on the forum?

It's a USB guitar/mic recording interface BTW.

..uh, yeah kinda why I'm asking before I post, if at all.
Any Mods have "the" answer? Thanks much.

I'm not a mod, but I can say with confidence that what Tim posted is "the" answer.

The For Sale threads in the guitar and bass forums are clearly labeled "MUSIC MAN Guitars/Basses For Sale."

There are lots and lots and lots of online forums that aren't sponsored by manufacturers where you can sell anything you want.

I thought you were going to ask first :) :).....the boys are correct. Non EBMM for sale threads are not allowed.

I am asking first:) My question was to subject of posting an "off topic" ebay listing (if ok and where). Not a question as to what the item itself was. That general description of the item was to head off questions (if any) as to the identity of said item and to dispel any mislead intentions of wrong doing concerning selling or soliciting of non MM stringed instruments.
I also wanted to wait for the "offical" moderated word as I have read Sterling Ball would rather have happen than "arm chair moding".
I am quite happy though that the forum members knew the correct answer.:D

Thank you for your reply on this.
Mod, please delete thread.

my mistake....when I saw that you actually posted the description of the item I considered that advertising the sale(with out a link to ebay).

No worries my friend...we're all on the same page now. We have a great group of forumites(knuckleheads) here....hang out and have some fun!

Cheers!

If and when the item does not sell (which I'm sure it won't sell), I'll happily give it to a forum member who is in need as long as they really need it and are not just taking it for resale.
