Or any 2 tone sunburst matching headstocks, I need more of those. Not the honey Burst- Vintage 2 Tone.

Dave. I know what youre talking about.

I dont even look at the Pre-EB Rays on eBay. Not to say they arent good basses. Just that Ive played a handful that didnt grab me. While on the other hand about every EB I play grabs me.:D

I'm sure asked before, but what the heck do you do for a living???

Well my whole point here is not to knock the Leo Fender basses for no ones a bigger fan of leo then myself.

But I do so many set ups and repairs and the leo fender music mans Take so much time. Ernie Ball basses take 5 minutes max. They at Ernie Ball Have their **** together. Sterling is so Anal about perfection that their basses are the Best you'll ever find.

Now what do I do you ask, Well I'm the Owner and designer of a few Products that feel free too check out www.turbotune.net

And for giggles I also Own a Courier Company.

And Last. i No Longer Have that wife saying Mr Dave why Own all These Guitars That Look the same. hehehehe

And My Girlfriend Now Just Loves them all, lol

So Bass Players wives, Ya just got to understand Basses are like your shoes and it'll all make sense.

Hey Dave, What's the point in having so many MM's if you put a JB on your site ?!?

Cool! Thanks for your response.

For even more money, why not Graceland style tours through your home? I'd pay. ;)

When it came time for the shoot for the web site These we're the basses I had on hand with me, When we do an update you can bet every instrument will be an Ernie Ball, For there is one in every room on a stand somewhere now.
PS: did ya Love that 58 Tele?
Thanks for the Great Photo though. Dave

do the Pre-Ernie Ball basses have the big gaping neck joint like the fenders do? I had a 69 precision that weighed a ton and I had to get the neck joint shimed to keep it from moving so much.

Cool. I've got a couple of those sitting in a box in my music room that I've had for more than 20 years. Are you the original patent holder?

Yes I designed the Turbo Tune from many years on the road doing live shows and getting tired of the guitar Techs saying they didn't have time to do my basses but next show we will.

So I designed the Turbo Tune and my basses got done.

The Charvel/Jackson era I think was the worst for that, But yes Ernie Ball Fixed that issue along with many Others. DJ
