EBMM 1993 Sterling original preamp ??

I’m new to the forum but not to Music Man, been playing MM since 1999 !

Recently picked up a one owner 1993 Sterling.

The original owner told me it is all original. When looking at the control cavity/preamp it looks quite different than my 1996 Sterling. In my 1996, there is no resistor added between the preamp and the switch, also there are no resistors on the switch itself.

Since this one is an early version (June 9 1993 date stamp in the neck pocket), I thought maybe it is how it should look in the early ones ?!?

Just curious to know if this looks original to any of you ?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Yes, that is a 1993 Sterling preamp. It has a blue resistor coming from the preamp board and connecting to the switch. The switch itself has two blue resistor and one light brown resistor.

Looks like mine. Did you ever find a schematic for that bass? mine is a 1993 also.
