Nice! The Maz 18 is an excellent amp - ridiculously versatile. Did you get a head or combo? Reverb or no? Black, Blonde, Red or Surf Green? What speaker/cab? Love me some Zs!!! (I've got 3 myself - they're like EBMMs - you can't stop wanting and getting more! :D) EBMMs & Zs compliment each other perfectly. They're both super high quality products made by companies in the U.S. that still manufacture things with love and lot's of care. Enjoy!

How about some pics/vids with the MAZ and your fiddle? :)

in the last two months i've gained two new amps...
one is a Classic 30 which i had modded with a standby switch and installed a Classic 30 and then swapped it for a vintage greenback... and loaded it with JJ's... great little amp

and then i got the Z...
Maz 18 Jr 112 Combo w Reverb
Blonde Tolex
Celestion G12H 70th Anniversary Speaker
i'll take it outside and snap a pic real quick of my current setup... you'll like it

EBMM and Dr Z amps?

Yes. Great combination. I've played a coupla ALs, a 20th, a Silo Spec and my Super Sports thru a few along the way.

Definitely dig the way my Super Sports handle thru: SRZ-65, Galaxie, Remedy, Z-28 and Ghia.

Am hoping to make a return trip to the greater Cleveland area in June for a lil' visit with some of the Z forumites :);)

Congrats on the MAZ 18 - truly a cool amp.

cheers always,

Joel

thanks bro-
and it's actually a black bottom pool- the sun and the black bottom (really a dark dark blue) heats the water without any need for a pool heater. in the summer i can go out at midnight and its still nice and warm...

Really nice Pete.

The water in your pool looks nasty.

i'm actually really enjoying this amp it's extremely versatile and responsive.

I've found myself playing direct just to hear the purity of it... Brilliant!

the pedalboard i'm pretty excited about- i built this from scratch and actually had three i was building. Two for my buddy and his wife in a band Five Hundred Reeds and they turned out really nicely as well and as a result i've got about a dozen folks ready to buy if i can find the time to build them. LOL

yeah- i'm still lovin on the 20th when i get the chance. A lot of my playing as of late has required me to get real twangy so i do have a single coil counterpart that i made but the 20th always goes with me for those heavier songs...

i thought about selling this one a few months back but just cant find myself to part with it... just too good to let go
