EBMM Basses from Mexico - it looks bad…

Hi!
I was searching the web for some pictures of Bongo 6 and I found this:

They have much more "EBMM" guitars on this site. I know the world is not an ideal place and there are luthiers who copy instruments rather than create them. But this one is the worst copy I've ever seen…

Is there anything that can be done with this?

Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Those just look ugly. They lack the subtle style that the bongo has. Hopefully no one gets suckered in and buys one.

I know Bongos are expensive but any of the Sub bass guitars are tens of times better than this kind of thing (can't even call it a bass.) Alas some will always purchase one but it's a way to learn a lesson about quality.
