Just opened my case to put my sterling 5 HH in and found this has happened

Is there anything i can do? Only had the bass 6 months, my cases are always strapped down in my van to avoid falling over so i know it hasnt took a hit. Reluctant to glue it myself incase of any reaction with the finish of the bass.
The whole top section is loose, the bottom seems ok. Am i best returning it to the store?

Super easy fix. Home depot sells glue in a tube designed for foam and plastic. Read the label but that should fix it. Once dry, no issues. Don't want that, try 2 sided carpet tape.

White glue [Elmers, etc] works on foam and it
has no fumes. The only drawback, often of no
consequence, is a long drying time ... but thaz
a result of the lack of volatile solvents, so thus
the lack of fumes and also why it doesn't melt
the foam or the vacu-formed plastic shell.
