Tim:

That was great!

Now if I could only find some EB guitar straps, besides my precious leather one I'd buy em and replace the lot, including two F----r straps.

Btw, did I ever share my EB Customer Service stories? No, ok...

Simple things, but great in my eyes nontheless.

1.) A couple years back, 2001 maybe, they (EB) showed some of the leather Edmund Vin Heuton type straps at a NAMM event, and were briefly news items on the website. This was shortly after purchasing my Axis. Seeing these I lusted after one to go with my shiny new guitar. A couple of e-mails later, I find out that they're not going to be for sale in any great amount, just some at NAMM and a few in stores here and there. I spoke with Beth, and she put me in touch with the right people in Canada to ensure I got one of the few available. I wear it with pride on my Axis every time I play.

2.) Very recently having decided I wanted to try and get some of the Pure Nickel slinky's, I'm a fan of the Pure Nickel strings. Unfortunately I didn't know how I'd like them so I was unwilling to buy a whole box full, which is the only way any shops local would get them in for me. Anyway, I asked here on the forum and Heather got me in touch with the Canadian distributor, who phoned my local store directly on my behalf and persuaded them to order them for me specifically. The guys in the store still haven't figured that one out yet. I got them and I love them. I no longer need to buy the F----r nickel set I'd been using for years.

The forum here, the way we all almost feel part of the EB family is amazing. So I'd have to agree that EBMM Customer Service RULES! I will be purchasing another guitar before too long, maybe in the new year, and it will be a Musicman for sure, no doubt.

Oh absolutely! Just like BP says, " This is a family and I have never felt more welcome"
Keith is still a stepchild though.

FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! :)

Derek's alright...I still wouldn't trust him. :D

Seriously...

Derek's been the man when I've been in a pinch, or have needed something, or when I haven't. I need some help with something on the forum, there he is. I need something here, i.e. a trem bar for the Sils, there he is.

I don't need anything, but they want to "pay" me for my work on the boards, there he is. I'm standing outside, smoking a cigarette in the darkness...creepy, but there he is. It all goes hand in hand. :)

Good man, wish that there were more like him...dammit, dude! How come we never met up at the OH?

Well done, Tim... but don't you think that your jug-o-flammable-liquid is a little close to the fire in photo # 5? ;)

Funny you should say that, there was a mercy dash to get it when I realised that it was there!

It was funny, all my housemates are musicians, and when I suggested a Fender fire, it was like, cool lets do it now!!!!! The neighbours were confused, but it was great fun. Plus my new Levy's straps are way more comfortable!

I have a load more pics, maybe I should post them too?!
