If you really want to keep equal tension on the neck, wouldn't you go high E, low E, B, A, etc? I think I'll go with Jon. I don't see how I can argue with an EB tech.

That's how I do it anyway, hehehehehe. Just cause I feel more organized that way.

Who here is obsessive compulsive?

*Sheepishly raises hand*

Do you remember a time before the internet when we would play guitars :p

+1 on the obsessive compulsive... I think the trick is to try not to give a **** ;)

Yes, thats what I meant, you explained it better than I did. :) And I am not arguing with Jon or anybody else, just wanted to hear what his take on it was. I also ran this topic over at the unofficial Epi site http://epifriends.proboards28.com/index.cgi to see what they tought and it seems that everyone has a different spin on how they do it. Some guitars may be more fragile than others, but mine have not proven to be as fragile as I treat them. :D

Thanks again, I really like this Forum

The guy has some good info, however with the wolf vs. ebmm i cant comment.
Because i have never played an Axis or EVH.

However I liked the page on the wolfie EXP's that that guy emailed in.

so i dont need to worry about taking all 6 strings off of my EVH EBMM when i'm doing a string change??

just checking :)

a block to go under your floyd to protect the finish might be usefull
