Hi,
I've recently come into possession of an EBMM EVH (Owned by my father). He bought it second-hand in Australia during the mid 90's. It's a trans-pink 1992. (verified in the Serial No. database) Understanding that it is a rare EVH (possibly only 200 trans pink made?) I'm trying to build an estimation of its value for an eventual sale.
From my limited research, I can't find any EBMM EVH's with anything other than a "Tone" labeled volume knob. So I'm assuming the knob must have been replaced in its early life prior to my father buying it.
However, just wondering if it's possible that it was built like this? It's in very good condition and has never shown any signs of damage around the knob that would indicate a replacement was needed.

Look up. Waaaaay up.
I did some brief online searching and the official specs indicate a 500k pot with single “Tone” knob. Most likely someone swapped out the Tone knob for a Volume knob. Still a rare guitar. However, forum ‘policy’ is that the guitar doesn’t exist unless there are pics. Just so we can drool a bit more.

As you can see, the fading on the body has made it look a little more like a faded Red, However the Headstock is still pretty bright pink

That's a beauty, lovely Birdseye fretboard + OG case too !!!

You need this if putting back to stock :

Thanks mate, Yes I've already ordered the EVH one

As it states:
(Switch is not identical to the original switch from the '90s.)

Does anyone know what the difference is between these and the original ones? Can't seem to find any original NOS ones available

The PCB looks a little different from my spare NOS EBMM EVH/Axis switch. The actual switch seems the same. Can't tell without more photos of the current one. The SKU on the original that I have is M05427.
