Hoping this won't offend anyone at the BP Mag house...

I can't do sh*t with web stuff, so here are just links to the pages. The frist page is the cover, so maybe you want to skip that, I put it there so that you could all feel a vibe from the days:)
Enjoy!

Edit: I'll have a talk with our layout guy when he comes back from lunch, there should be a way to make this a nice pdf I guess...

Edit 2: And yes he did, a low res version (0,9 mb) and a high res version (15 mb). Enjoy!

Ya, I hear you there, but that won't happen until next week I'm afraid. And the god-awful layout they used, well I am thinking maybe I'll improve on it so that the whole thing is easier to read. Or maybe not, maybe it'll be just as fun seeing how it was back then:D

I posted that same Bass Player article about a year ago.
All I did was scan the pages in to my computer, then loaded the images to photobucket, and linked them here.

I have been trying to access the "budget 4 string shootout' from a few years ago that featured the EBMM SUB. I can get the preamble but not the actual revies at Bass Player site...anyone have it?

here is what I can get to...what am I doing wrong?

Very cool Strummer, thanks for taking the time. As if I didn't already want an apprentice spot at the EBMM factory bad enough!! How cool would it be to be a part of the process of building these things?

Should this be a sticky? "EBMM press" or some such? This info - particularly the factory tour article/photos & the shootout article - is such sweet candy for addicts, old & new, it'd be cool for it to be "statically located".

I think what you are reading is actually all there is on the web page. Since it's in the "thins month" section, it was probably intended to be a teaer to sell that particular issue.

Fullly agreed. Could even be hosted on and accessible from the EBMM website.

One thing I want to know, maybe from someone attending the open house, is how much the production is still the same? In 91 they cut the neck profile in a way I suspect has changed, and maybe other things are also different?
Any input on this would be really interesting.
Oh, and notice how it says "concepts are worked out by Dudley Gimpel and Sterling Ball", and that was almost 17 years ago! Talk about a strong team!
