Hey guys...

So I finally got off my ass this weekend and started settling in to my new place. One of the major things I did was hang up a bunch of my guitars... well, the EBMM basses, the rest get to sit on racks.

The pics aren't too good (its dark, i have no idea when to use flash vs lights) but here they are:

The guys chillin on the wall... you can see the JP6 and Axis SS kickin it in the rack below next to some other things ...

angle shot. you can see the cool Halloween poster in the back.

The Rays keepin it real... the color's dont look "right" in this pic. that trans gold hh ray will kick your ass if you're not careful

i call this one "Sterlings in blur" (i know, the pics suck). from left to right: Kate, Kristen, Rachel and Joey

and here's the beater... my first bass ever. the only non-mm bass i own. he's modded to all hell: probably more money in that guy than the cost of a new Sterling... and well, he's no sterling but i love him anyway

Sweet pics Phatty!

So which is your fave?

thanks man...

my fav? that's an unfair question really cuz i like them all for different reasons. however.... i'll rephrase your question a few ways and provide answers:

Q: if you had to sell all but one which would you keep?
A: Joey (Blue Dawn). Does the job, she's my first and plays great, + i like making Tiffs jealous

Q: Which one plays the best (feel)?
A: this is a setup issue, but the HS or Joey (tied)

Q: Pic your favorite sounding one?
A: tied HS or HH Ray

Q: if someone didn't have an MM Bass which would you suggest they get?
A: HS Sterling or HH Ray depending one which neck you like better)

he he. thanks... the beater isnt bad. i pretty much couldnt bare to let my first ever bass become completely worthless so ive been modding him for a couple years to get him usable. he's pretty decent...

the only original part left on him is the body.

WOW!!!!! I'm in the process of getting a HH Sterling. Your pics have left me totally confused. Once I get my first one, I'm sure others will follow. I'm getting rid of a single H 'Ray, and I'm regretting it already. Great sounding and built bass. I will have another!

Great pics, dukk!

He's a sod isn't he?

How bout we figure out some nasty and painful way to kill him, and you can make off with the Blue Dawn, and I'll have the HS :D

Great looking wall ornaments, Arin;)
The beater looks kinda Mike Wattish, and I like that one too.

thanks :)

well, this is the second comment on the beater... so il address it. it was an epiphone back in the day. now its got a new neck (j profile, tele headstock), new PUPs, u retro and a badass II.

the beater is a wonderful example that you can mod the hell out of something, but an MM will still kill it. dont get me wrong... its a fine bass now, but honestly id take the tone of my MMs over it any day
