No, Boy...I wasn't planning on releasing a CD of this song, but if this keeps going and we get better at it, I thought it would be cool to make some CDs of the forum members.. Your playing is great! I'm either going to work on another song for the post, or add another solo onto the existing song.
Do you have one written that you would like us to play on?

Yeah that would be cool if you take your Silo 20th Anni. for the next solo.

It would be great if we can hear different Ball's. :)

The first solo was recorded with Ivan's JP, Jeff used one of his Axis' and my 3rd solo was playing on my new AL !

Yep Jeff, the L6 stuff sounds great and its easy to recording a good sound. As you know , Ivan and me , we both used the pod xtl.

Try the soldano amp model and L6 Modern HiGain model.

sure, give me your email address and I'll send it to you.
But, you could also try to click on the link and if that takes you to the next step where the file is, try "right" clicking on the file, and choose save target as...and save that to your computer.
If that still isn't working, I'll be glad to email it to you.

jeffrey-

well I think I definitely win the "most questionable tone" award...but what the heck. I have a digitech gnx3- I don't like twiddling around so much with all the features so i just picked one of the preexisting patches...

I've really enjoyed playing along with that progression (and listening to you other guys' great playing)~ one thing I've really discovered is that my timing needs a lot of work! But this has been great motivation for me to play my guitar more often, and only good can come of that.

I have another chord progression we can solo over as well, if you guys are interested in hearing it & trying it out.

ya

Hey guys...why don't we start a project where we have some backing tracks, and the forum members can collaborate/solo/share ideas and post them?
Perhaps even release a CD if it turns out well.....

Just a thought after hearing all these great players on the boards...

Yeah, I'm bored on a Friday night....

sean, do you have your chord progression recorded yet? do you have drum tracks, or would you like us to help you get that done?

sour2eat,
do you have some recording software to join in on what we've done so far?

jeffrey-

I should be getting some new recording software in the next couple days and I'll try to record it with that. otherwise, I could record each track (probably 2 rhythm guitars and bass) and send you each as a .wav file; I could also include a drum track, but the gnx3 doesn't have much of a drum machine; it would just be a basic pattern over & over.

Also, if I just recorded one cycle of the progression, could you loop it arbitrarily many times? that'd be easier than recording the whole thing.
