Hey Pete

I remember reading that you might be in Ontario sometime soon - any chance you will be around for that GTA get together???? I mean, your drawing power alone should increase the attendance, right?;)

Too bad it's 19+ only.. :(

If it's going to be in the store now, then maybe not!?
Eric, could you clarify if the alcohol thing is still in effect!?
I bet we could pic up at least a few more people if it's not.

................Ritchie, it's not so much that you need a passport to get in to Canada but rather your country has been very adamant in getting everyone to have a passport to get back in to the US. maybe because the new US passports have these in them.......

RFID, lots o' fun!!

Ahhh yes! More fun and games from our wonderful government. My old passport expired a couple of months ago. And I had not gotten it renewed. Might be something to keep in mind before I do.

As for the party, I wish I could make it. But, I won't be able to renew by then.

And to drive would be one hell of a commute!

Disappointed it's scaled back, I was hoping BP could make it, that would have been so great. I will still come, and bring my balls.

Event postponed, but will still happen!

Hi guys! As of yesterday we had 10 people that had actually replied, which after a meeting we decided that it just wasn't feasible to do this at this time. It does take a bunch of time and money to do one of these things right, so it's hard to justify for such a turnout. However, we've decided not to abandon the idea, but just postpone it and possibly change the format, also making it more family-friendly. Perhaps after the Xmas holiday madness settles we can try doing something in the spring. I hope with more lead time and an ability to promote it more we can make it the Event I know we all want this to be. I'm disappointed myself, but know we can still make something happen. I'll keep all of you who graciously responded on file in my computer, and you'll be the first to know when we reschedule. I know there's a lot more interest out there, but maybe the timing wasn't right. No fear, we will still do one, just not in 10 days. The spirit of Ernie Ball Musicman owners will not be denied!!!!!! If any of you are up in the Newmarket area, please take some time to drop into The Arts Music Store and checkout our great selection of EBMM guitars and basses. We love and speak Musicman, and would love to meet some more of you!
Once again, a thank you to all who replied, and watch this Forum for details of an upcoming Event! -Eric/Lance

Ah shucks :(

Thanks so much for organizing Eric. I was one of the confirmed ones, and I'd love to see this happen in the new year. There are enough of us knucks around that we should be able to make it happen. And I was lookin' forward to showing off my one-of-a-kind piezo Morse.

Thanks again. I'll be popping by the store soon I hope ... while I'm up there I'll get a tee time at Pheasant Run ...

Sometimes a little disappointment spawns something that turns out to be better than the original idea anyway. A lot of you had concerns, both pro and con, about it being a 19+. I think the new version will be more family-oriented. Some of you brought up other things we'd not considered in the original concept; might as well apply them now. Besides, and I think this is the biggest plus, is perhaps with more leadtime we can get Big Poppa himself to attend, as he so kindly indicated on a few posts. By the way Sterling, thank you for your offer, and we're going to try to take you up on it!
Hang tough folks, the EBMM GTA Forum Event V.2 will be worth the wait!-Eric/Lance
