Hi, I am in downtown Atlanta for the week, is there a good store where I can
go and gas over some EBMM basses, if I ever have some time to kill?
I am right downtown near Peachtree.
Do you have a car? Can't really get anywhere in Atlanta without a car. If you do, the GC on the I-85N access road at N. Druid Hills usually has a decent selection of basses, including EBMM, to mess around with. I'm not aware of any music stores in the downtown area, but it's been a couple of years since I lived there.
Thanks buddy!
Yeah, I checked it out on the web, I guess that would be the closest one,
unfortunately no wheels here, I might try the MARTA if I have time.
Thanks for the help, guys!
Sorry for my ingnorance, I did not realize Peachtree St. was running across the whole state of Georgia!
I am right smack downtown near the CNN building, the weather is absolutely gorgeous down here,
after almost 2 solid weeks of miserable wet & cold weather in Montreal, that sure feels good to walk outside with short sleeves!
I could get used to this place very fast, LOL
Don't know if they are still around, but down off of North Ave. there used to be a pretty cool little music shop called Clark Music. Bought a lot of stuff there back in the '80's. Last time I was in the neighborhood (1996) they were still there....
If you have tons of cash to blow on fine dining while in atlanta, go to Vini Vidi Vici in midtown. Best itialian in the city and tell my wife I said hi, if ya go!
The Thrashers are actually halfway decent this year. They've scored the second highest number of goals this year (19) behind the Ducks and the Sabres (both 21).
If you want to see a team that truly sucks at Phillips, you only need to look to the Hawks, though.
hey! I was just kidding... actually, they simply couldn't do anything against the Hurricanes (Goalie was incredible, and they have a Defense, which the Trashers don't) In the long run you dont go very far with just Offence.
But I had a great time at the Phillips center, the fans are cool, most do proudly wear their jerseys, and they seem to know what hockey is about, which was a surprise for me! And those girls in mini skirts cleaning the ice during the commercials.... WOOOOH WEEEE!!!! Now thats an idea!
Southern girls are REALLY hot, LOL
