Stands to reason that's possible - but the neck length would have to be changed; 25.5 works ok for a 7 string, but is too short to handle the lower string of an 8. That makes me curious as to whether that would mean a different variation of the guitar, either back to JP6-like roots but extended neck, or perhaps a fanned neck? A guy can dream. In any case, hope we hear more about it soon.

I'm pretty much on the side that this dream of yours is going to become waking reality. A longer scale Majesty quite likely. A more accomplished version of the Baritone model.
