I've had my EBMM JP6 for about a year and as of the past 2 months, a dead note up on the high E string has occured quite badly. I've taken it in to a tech but all they did was raise the action. they obviously didn't know what they were doing so I was wondering if I should contact Ernie Ball and try to send it in to fix? Please help!

Any decent tech should have been able to diagnose the problem. It could be:

Guitar needs a set up and the neck needs less relief
or
High fret

Call EB customer service. Seems that'd be the obvious next step. They've helped me out on two occasions.
