Help! EBMM JPX6 seems like crack on the nut joint

EBMM JPX6 : are they usually comes like this?

check out the white line along the nut joint

i dont know if they usually comes like this or not

all i want to know is that if there's anyone who owns JPX and has the same problem or doesn't have it

if there's anyone who doesn't have this mark on the nut then i'll be ready to send it back.

p.s. i just got them yesterday

My JP6 has the same thing, it's just glue from what I can tell.

It's glue. How is the nut? Is it low? Mine was like that and the nut was low. I sent it in and got it replaced. Now it does not have the white glue line. That said if the nut isn't low, it's a non issue. My BFR also has a bit of the glue line and the nut height is fine.

i not sure if it's low or not
some strings buzz a little but i thought that happens on every guitar

so is the glue line on nut is normal on every JPX BFR?

Fret each string on the 3rd fret and see if you have any clearance between the string and the first fret. There should be a tiny gap. If the string is sitting on the fret the nut is low. It's likely it's fine as I said my BFR is the same way and I have seen other JPX's that were the same.

i took a guitar to a tech cause it's buzz so much
and after he adjusted it it still buzz
and action was already really high

he reccomended me to order a new one

If a tech can't figure out how to make the action low and not buzz at all without explanation, I'd say to find a new tech. If the neck is not twisted, a level and crown should fix any guitar in existance.

For you Guys living in the us it's easy to find a good tech, just send your gtr to ebmm and get a brand new factory setup

I´ve got the same on my JPXI. Looks very much like glue. I think you´re fine.

My JP6 came with no line and now it has one in the finish. It's inevitable when you consider it is a graphite nut sitting in a wooden slot. Both materials have different properties.

Besides eventually you'll have to replace it - especially when it's graphite, when it wears out,

On mine it has the added thing of the finish flaking off from the top of the nut downwards as time goes by.

I got mine at GC online and it came down to = does it bother my that much considering all the above facts? I decided to keep it. Good decision bc it stays in tune as well as a FR equipped guitar...but I digress

try this... eat something greasy... now rub your mildly greasy hand over where the the line is bothering you.. wipe away the residue with your sleeve.. something tells me this will all wipe away..

Is it really a "graphite" nut? The standard white nuts are melamine, which is very hard wearing. I thought the black ones were too.
