Hello all.
I am a recent reader, and now a new member and first-time poster.
I decided to join what looks to be an excellent community, full of people who are passionate about Ernie Ball Music Man instruments.
Despite being a long-time Stratocaster and Les Paul player (I love both instrument types), I am a huge fan of Ernie Ball Music Man Luke guitars, as well as the famous musician who was named after them.
I bought my first Music Man instrument (a Luke III) only as recently as 2021, and I have added two more Lukes to my lineup in 2026. I now have all three pickup combination offerings (HH, SSS and HSS), and I love all of them.
The quality of these instruments is outstanding. They look, feel, sound and play exceedingly well, and in my opinion, the 'standard' build quality of EBMM instruments is on par with what you would get from Custom Shop instruments from other guitar manufacturers.
The necks on EBMM instruments, as people know, have wow-factor.
As other people have said in various threads, my 'desert island' guitar would be a Luke. It is such a versatile instrument that can be used for any application.
Here are the details of my EBMM Lukes:
As I have learned in my short time spent reading these forums, a guitar does not exist unless there are pictures; so here is a photo of my Lukes.
I check the EBMM site way too frequently, looking to see if new Lukes (including the BFR offerings) make an appearance. I probably should stop doing this, as looking at Lukes can be very dangerous!
I am looking forward to participating in the community, and discussing these outstanding guitars (as well as playing them).
