are you telling the guitar player to turn down his amp because he is too loud??????? that is a no no...at least in my band...that is why you listen to the sound guy...at least in my opinion
I played with a band where the drummer used one of those Roland V-drum sets or whatever it's called, because of it's "convenience". For some reason everytime he turned it off to pack for the gig, all the controls and parameters got reset. All his carefully crafted presets were lost, like a save-button didn't exist.
It was living hell to do soundchecks.
The time used:
The rest of the band: 10 minutes. Fine.
Him: up to 2 hours!
(...Drummer hitting snare.."No!"....hits it again...."No!!"...franticly pushing buttons...hits snare..."No! What the f uck!?!"....hits snare two times...."Aaargghh!!"...and on and on...) x a million.
