So does that mean the JPX is over? Or will the JPXI be an additional model?

I'm just wondering if the JPX will now be a one year only deal - which could be kinda cool. :)

I can't wait to try it out this week at NAMM. I'll be cleverly disguised as some nobody, wannabe guitar player. ;)

i did that a few years ago at my first NAMM and i had a blast... met a lot of great folks and actually had a few folks think i was working for this other guitar company as an endorsee... it was kind of funny... and then i went to a boutique pedal company and was trying out their stuff when their endorsee showed up... they unplugged me... LOL!!! so with one good story comes a bad one... but heck it's NAMM WEEK!!! have a blast to all those that are going...

On the redesigned trem..... A wide base seems like it means larger, and just looking at that picture of the JPXI, the trem does look larger. Of course pictures are deceiving. My guess would be more mass, which most likely means more sustain. Just innocent speculation. Either way, it looks like another great guitar from EBMM!!! :D

Glad to see the 3 way back for the JPXI. What I"m really curious about is color options. Only going to be available in Onyx?

Maybe my eyes deceive me...or the picture deceives me...but near the input jacks on the JPXI there seems to be another input for something else. Gamechanger?!?!?

My guess is no. The other models have all been kept the same even when new ones are introduced, with the exception of the pickups.

I disagree.

From what I can see, this trem alleviates the problem of the high E saddle hitting the post when dive-bombing. A problem a few have had.

I can't imagine why they'd change the route on the CNC and machine different hardware just for this one Petrucci.

Although, I could totally be wrong!

Getting excited to hear/read about all the game changer info this weekend. Looking forward to finding out more about the JPXI, as well.

Ha Ha! Paul, I speak fluent English and I'm still confused about everything the game changer can do. All will be revealed this weekend.:)
