Didnt want to hijack the other thread but another amazing thing i noticed about the Axis neck is how it is two piece but you almost can see the separation in most places.

That is damn good work. It is so well done that the grain is almost perfect in alignment with the other piece. I mean you can hardly tell at all. That must take someone eyeing it perfectly after putting in the truss rod and gluing it together. Crazy

The fretwork is also impeccable.

I remember thinking that exact same thing when I had my Cherry Burst Axis. It looks like one piece of wood :eek: Can't wait to see the same thing on my '07 LE :cool:

MM necks are the highest quality necks in the world - bar none!! Compare it to ANY neck in ANY music store anywhere in the world.

Dedication to quality is an "obvious standard" that evidently is fixed in the heart of BP.
