Hi Guys,
My name is Ash, Im from Cardiff (UK) and Im about to take delivery of my first EBMM (apart from a very brief romance with an old 2eq 'ray)..... A Bongo 4 HH. I'm getting it in a trade for a Shuker Singlecut Headless 4 that Im just not getting on with tone wise (not enough agression). I'm hoping to make the Bongo my go to bass. I was looking for a sterling or a ray but after reading up on the bongo and seeing how much you all (especially Big Poppa) loved it and getting over the looks, which make sense now that I know BMW were in on it I thought why the hell not?
I play in an experimental proggy metally spacey band called Lion & The Wolf. We used to be called Caesars Rome and had an album out called The Company We Keep which you are all more than welcome to steal from where ever you can find it. I'm also a member of basschat.co.uk and statii.com under the same name.
I have a few basses......Other than the incoming Bongo I have a CIJ Fender Jazz, Hofner Contemporary series club, Trace Elliot T-bass, Aria SB II Elite, Peavey T-40, Westone Thunder 1a and a few other bits and bobs, all of which I'm told will be for sale when the bongo comes in. Amp wise I have an Ampeg SVT-4 pro and an 8x10. I use a sans-amp BDDI too.
