It wouldnt be right to the purchasers of the 25 to re release these. maybe the double neck (one neck is electric sitar)

Just a thought but how about a 2nd edition sometime? Perhaps a different colour to differentiate from the original 25 and therefore keep DaveB happy!

Interesting. How did you go about locating them?

PS Totally agree on the lapdancer front!!!:D

I googled a lot, then some old threads here- - a couple of dealers I speak to in the US put me on to some of the private owners.....

There was a thread here a while ago when I was looking to buy one - and I asked DaveB too!

That's the guy who's got one on his website and is willing to sell for $10k.

I hope they make something in the same vein again soon - not even a Mr. Horsepower clone, just something select (for charity would be good too) and we could all (ok some of us) get a really rare guitar and do some good at the same time..... BP have you got anything in the pipline you could share ?

since Casey's was stolen I have two and dont plan on selling either one is for caseys 21st

A very cool 21st gift - I've done the same for my kids, even if they don't play they can sell the <<guess the brand>> guitars and keep the cash or trade it for something.....

I don't have my own company though so I had to shell out £2000! I can wait to see brentrocks sobbing if he's gonna part with his EVH's!!!!

Thanks for that. Sounds like you put a fair bit of work into that detective work!:D

So, I now know what I need to do....

Pops out to buy several lottery tickets!

WOW, I just found this thread while surfing.
With apologies to the original 25 owners, this guitar is just too f'n cool to never make any more of them. "Munchie" shifter, er, I mean whammy bar. Cool.

Edit: BTW, put my name on the list if there is going to be one. :D

Hey BP, how about my suggestion to do a re-run but with a different colour combination to keep the owners of the original 25 happy?

Perhaps a larger run would make it worthwhile financially? Also if it's a 'no-options' model, this should make it simpler to do?

I'll put my name down for one now. :D

This guitar may be many things....but "simple to do" is unlikely to be one of them! Personally I quite like the idea of EBMM limited editions really being limited, not "limited to the number we can sell".

I meant simpler compared to something like the Dargie run where sometimes only single digit numbers of each model were being produced.

I seem to remember BP posting something about not engaging in that type of excercise again at the time which is why I thought a limited run of identical instruments may make more sense from a manufacturing point of view.

Not going to happen. Mr Ball sold these items as a limited edition, people paid a fortune for them. He'd have to be an untrustworthy moneygrabbing chiseler to repeat the edition.....from what we've seen on here he's not.
