Since I'm half acoustic musician I love acoustics.

I have a Martin D-15, an Ovation Balladeer and a Yamaha "beater"

I was looking at Taylors, but they didn't project like the Martin's do.
I did like the Taylor T5, but it's too much money $3000 for the one I played.

If I get another acoustic, which I probably will, it will most likely be a Martin OMC-28E.

I love my Piezo in my JP too.

Currently juicing ona Walden G2070. Desigend in USA built in China....

but it is better than alot of $2000 Taylors and Takamines, Martins, etc... I have played. Quite a super value in the acoustic realm. Has real bone nut and saddle, is all solid wood, custom hardshell case, all for less than $350. I also play a Martin D-15 with bone saddle and Martin pickup. I like it alot. Big booming bass and mids...

Here's my EKO acoustic - bought in 1977 damaged stock.
It had probably been dropped and the laquer had chipped on the bottom edge.
I took it on honeymoon with me 26 years ago and it still has conffetti inside it to this day. The fretboard has not been cleaned for over 20 years and the sweat buid up is it's "Badge of Honour"

My other acoustic is a 1930's Paramount (Made in the USA). Martin built their guitars in the early 30's and Paramount also made Banjo's. The photo is taken at a wierd angle so it makes the body looks out of proportion.

This guitar desrves a posting on the "Music Discussion Forum"in the future as it has a story to tell. I will also be asking my USA brothers for any info they can provide on this beauty. Burke Shelley the bass player with the 70's band Budgie loves this guitar and when you pick it up you just want to play "swing"!

Note for you EVH fans - Burke makes good royalties from EVH who covered one of their songs "In for the Kill". :D I also loved their Roger Dean Album covers and the zanny titles of some of their songs - check em out and don't laugh too loud at the titles.

I play a Wechter Pathmaker...they are made here in Paw Paw, MI. Abe Wechter used to work for Gibson, when they were in Kalamazoo...he started his own co. and is doing very well.

This one was custom made to my specs...i got to pick all the wood before the guitar was built. This was the first Blueburst Pathmaker ever produced...Abe and I came up with this color combonation together. I traded some photography work to Abe for this guitar. I was a great deal for me!

Out of all the acoustics I have owned (Martin, Collings, Taylor, Breedlove, Larivee, Ovation (yuck haha)), this particular guitar is easily the best playing and sounding acoustic I've ever been fortunate enough to own.

It's also a one-off. The wood was chosen from Bob's private stock (which does not go into custom or production guitars, ever) and I got to hand-pick everything (back, sides, neck, fingerboard, the flamed Koa for the binding, pick the inlays, etc.). It was just too cool a process to go through. Lots of memories there. :)

I will never let this thing go. :)

Custom Shops are insanely expensive here too.

Part of that event was very, very specially pricing. To the tune of about 1/3 of retail. :D

You lucky ............. ;)

I'm thinking of buying one through ebay and have it shipped over from the US... But I think it's kinda risky... I haven't had any problems yet with shipping electric guitars over from the US, but an acoustic... I'm not sure...
