Hi Guys

Hi All,

I just noticed the little eye 'seen on Ernie Ball Forums' Kotsadoros's video. Firstly i am not him :) but a good friend of his and one of his pupils. He has been teaching me for about 1.5 years and personally i think that his teaching is fantastic.
Anyway to get back to the point, when i first started with him he used his Silo Special all the time and told me that it was one of his favourite guitars even when i go around to his place he has quite a few others, including suhr and fender. He told me that the silo spec is by far his most favourite to play because it is so versatile.
Both the videos which have similiar backgrounds, Silo impro and the Yngwie cross the line were recorded at my place while we were messing around with tones. I consider him one of the top on the tube and finally found this link here and am so happy to find that it isn't really me being biased because he tutors me but that he IS really a top notch player and you guys have just confirmed that to me.
Feel free to ask any questions i can answer on his behalf, he told me to respond to some comments if i wanted to, since he doesn't really get much time with all the students and stuff his does.

It is a real pleasure to meet people that are Silo crazy like myself and him of course. He has so much Silo special love that he advised me to get one as my next guitar which i did in a hearbeat and i have to say very few guitars are as good as the silo for versatility.
i am sure most of you guys have seen these 2 vids too, but in case you have not, i hope you don't mind me linking them and hope i am not breaking any forum rules. Both videos have got fantastic feel and tones.

Well Strange things are happening here not sure why, when i logged on a few mns ago my original post seems to have appeared and so i deleted the second post and well.... after deleting the second post my 1st post has now vanished lol.

But it's all good, i have contacted him and hopefully he will be coming on these forums. I do apologise for this since i have no idea what exactly happened with these posts.

Pleasure to be here once again and thank you for the warm welcome.

Hi guys,

I am new here and i did post something to this thread about 30mns ago regarding Kostas and some info.
But for some reason my post was showing at first and now i cannot seem to find it on here.

Not sure what happened since it seemed fine when i first posted it and when i re-edited the post it seems to have vanished.
I guess i will repost again if it does not reappear later.

Ron

Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes indeed your initial post has "vanished" strange that!!

Hope you are able to repost your info?

Check out his Jeff Beck jam and also the Mike Landau jam! This guy is pretty sick...his tone is awesome even though it's not a EBMM in those two clips.

Hi everyone my name is kostas , just registered in the forum . First of all thanks to all that have taken the time to watch my videos and comment in suuh a positive way . I love my silo , i have alot of high end guitars including a custom suhr but the ernie ball has the mojo if that makes sence. In case anyone is interested i have disconnected the silent circuit completely cause i found it was making the guitar sound quite thin, i dont suggest you do it but just mentioning this is the way i prefer it . Apart from that these guitars are pure perfection , from the neck the body shape pickups weight ....... the list goes on . Again many thanks for your comments
