EBMM Spare parts in Nordic countries?

Hi guys,

I searched the forums for info on this, but couldn't really find an answer - so I hope this hasn't been discussed already, and apologize if it has.

The thing is - I recently bought an awesome and beautiful Luke 3 BFR model. There is just one thing I'm not 100% happy with, and that is the trem arm. I had expected it to come with a chrome tip, but mine had a black plastic tip instead. I have to say it feels a bit "cheap" to touch, in my opinion. I'm used to an all-steel arm on my Luke 1.

So even though it's maybe a silly thing I thought to myself; what the heck, now that I've spend more than $3k to import this baby from the US to Denmark, I might as well spend a few bucks on a new arm. I want this guitar to be just right, since I expect to play it for the next 20 years

I found that it's sold here Ernie Ball UK - Music Man Spares and it's even quite cheap! BUT they won't ship to Denmark

Thomann also doesn't stock spare trem arms it seems

So - any suggestions for where to order this would be greatly appreciated!

Let's see what MM says, you're right maybe I can buy one from there. It's just a bit cumbersome to buy things from the US here in Europe (which I guess you know all about). Maybe the value will be below the minimum Denmark have to import tax/processing...

Hee hee - that's why I replaced the one on my 2006 Limited Ed Albert with a solid gold one! - heck, I did the pickup selector too. (cast from scrap gold)

Is the chrome tip just chromed plastic? I've been so used to the black plastic tip on my Silhouette Special (and the plastic tip on any of my pre-EBMM guitars) I always just assumed.

As far as I have read/seen it's an actual chrome tip.

Btw, Magic Jason sorted me out - he's the man!

FWIW the HSS Luke 3 always have a black tip, the HH ones have a chrome tip. I guess to match the color of the pickups.

Problem solved - much nicer now!

I do get the coloring thing, I can see that the black tip matches the pickups etc. But this tip feels so much nicer. Thanks Jason
