EBMM Stingray + Q-Tron+....good combo?

I'm not sure about the Qtron but I have a Mini Qtron and while I use effects maybe 3 times a year, it is quite the sensationally funky noise.

Best effect ever IMHO.

$55 is a steal. The Qtron & Qtron+ are about my favorite envelope filter effect pedals & I've tried a bunch of them. I haven't paid much attention to what bass I have run through them, but I think it would be a good match for any MM.

Stingray 4/5 + Mini Qtron here.

Brilliant sound when you need it. Seems much more usable than other envelope/auto-wah type effects I've tried.

I've played with Mini Q-Tron and Sterling at my local M&P store. Very nice combination for those funkin' funky tones.

if the q-tron is half as good as my mu-tron III, then you will totally love it.
although, you really have to have the right band/song to make it useful.
Otherwise, it's great for breaking the monotony of playing alone.

$55? that's REALLY cheap!

I have 1 and used it in a funk band now and then.
With a Musicman you'll be able to get out some serious funk tones!
Try it at low volumes first and see what it does with different settings.
Then turn it up!

I also have a Mini Q Tron. It really shines with my SR5. Not so much with my two other acme basses. The SR5's single pickup give a voice that works well with effects in genneral.

I find that all of my effect pedals seem to be more pronounced and just do more when using my Stingray rather than another bass.

If the SR sounds as good as a Bongo with a Q Tron, get it. That the funkiest effect i've ever heard.
