The current StingRay Special 4-string basses have a nut width of 1-11/16" for the standard models, and a 1-5/8" nut width on some of the limited edition BFR and Vault basses.

Do the EBMM 1-5/8" StingRay necks have narrower string spacing at the nut compared to the 1-11/16" versions, or is the overall width of the neck and fretboard the only difference?

String spacing is measured at bridge so all 4 string MM basses have same 19

But at nut strings will be/feel closer at nut less so on the way up neck noticeable with 1 1/2 nut as opposed to 1 11/16 vs 1 5/8
