My original thought before reading this thread was - oh no, somebody is mucking around with a finish that can't be changed back, and - I like the look of a stock rosewood board...

Have to admit, the instrument looks very good!
Great post for anyone wanting the same; would this affect the warranty?

Nice job! I'm seriously considering having my luthier apply this treatment to the neck of my Stealth Bongo.
