The recent thread on "What EB's have you let go?" got me thinking about about EB's I wish I'd bought.
I wish I'd bought the Silo I used as a demo guitar when try out an FX unit (but didn't have the funds for the Silo) or the numerous Dargies that have came up for sale in the past year or so that, for various reasons, have slipped through my fingers.

EB's I wish I'd bought? There was a sparkle Axis Sport at a shop in Toronto about 5 years ago; and, at another shop there was a Silhouette hard-tail .... I remember seeing them before I knew all the good stuff about EBMM guitars; and, after I got into the EBMM guitars there was a trans-orange Super Sport with 90s that got away too.

Solid maroon ASS on craigslist Boston. It was before I had decided for sure that I was getting one. I was a real bargain.....I just wasn't yet knowledgable enough to realize it.

I wish I had bought a LE 2007 JP6 when the german distributor sold the overstock last year at a ridiculous price (at least for us europeans)! :(

Two -

The very first EBMM I played was a LUKE at Sam Ash in Columbus. I fell in love with the neck, but didn't have the bucks at the time.

The second was in June of 2006. I was sharing a table at a local guitar show and the table next to ours had a burgundy Albert Lee for $750. It was in mint condition. I remember eye-balling it all day hoping that one of my guitars would sell. I waited too long...

All that said, I now have 5 EBMM guitars that I am very fond of, so it all worked out for me!!!

Oh there are so many. Tim's sparkley ASS, if I had pulled the trigger 30 minutes sooner it would have been mine.

Here are a few:

This one,

But I snagged this a little while ago.

There were others, I let a White Sparkle Luke slip thru my fingers.

Then there were a couple of 20th that I passed on as well.

I missed out on a couple of eBay deals on a Dargie 6 string Pet nearly two years and on Dizzy's 20th Silo. Just couldn't get into the bidding in the last minute for either of those. Other than that, I pretty much have everything and more that I could ask for.

I had no money during the sparkle colored years so I wish I had picked up one of those in a Luke or AL.

I wish I had bought that purple/blue Axis hardtail about 3 weeks ago on Ebay. It was a tad high, but that would have been a nice guitar. If it pops up again, please let me know.
