Oh, I'm already there.

By the way a funny story for this thread. I had to order $250 worth of meat after losing a bet with my wife. I bet her that there was no such thing as a horse who was allergic to hay. Apparently it's actually pretty common, I should have known better seeing as how we own a cat that is allergic to cat food.

Yea that was a lose all the way, i have a beagle allergic to grass, go figure.

BTW hows the eye?

The eye is fully recovered, thanks for asking. My vision in that eye is actually 20/20 again, it was 20/400 for a while. There is a scar on the cornea (not visible by looking at it without equipment), but I got lucky and it's just below my line of sight otherwise I would have always had a small line in my vision. It took a boat load of Ophthalmologist visits (3 a week for a while), and large doses of multiple anti-biotic eye drops and ointments but it worked out, though I got a bit lucky as well.

The bottom line is you just can't screw around with infections (mine was caused by something getting into my eye and causing a cut in the cornea), they just spread too fast if not contained in a timely fashion. I put an eye patch over it initially, which kept air from getting to that eye causing it to raise a couple of degrees in temperature, and turned it into the perfect breeding ground for the infection to grow. It went from slightly blurry with a little pain, to blind and in extreme pain in under 2 hours. They gave me a ton of Vicodin.

I'm very grateful to have excellent insurance coverage.

Ewww. That's really freaking gross. I actually sent Scott a pic of it back when it happened but the phone I took it with has been replaced and I no longer have the pic.

Ummm, it wasn't my post with the pic that said BP sucks, other than that I think Fing summed it up succinctly in his last post.

I'm a little worried that this thread isn't being hijacked enough.

Maple vs Rosewood?

Discuss.....

That is great.

Tech: "I have to go to the bus and complain about the quality of the free food and beer the band has provided for me"
[pause]
Stage hand: "Hey, do you or any of the other roadies want to buy some pot?"
T: "I'm a tech"
SH: "Roadie"
T: "Tech"
SH: "You're a roadie"
[awkward pause]
T: "I'm going to the bus now"

That part really made me laugh.
