I support any company who protects their own...nuff said.

As for the other party, never done business with them one way or another and I've only visited the website to look at chicks with guitar pics although I question the "originality" of some of the models.

;)

Hey! Look everybody! We got a raise!

BP called us "guys" instead of "knuckleheads".

Thanks, BP! I'll try not to spend it all in one place. :D

I think that was an oversight.

Good point, Mark. He must be up to his beady little eyeballs in litigation

Like the others have said, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
But I'm not a total jerk. I'm willing to help ER out.

1. Ed Roman must remove from his website all references to any and all EBMM products and designs. Ed Roman also cannot say anything at all about Ernie Ball or Music Man, or EBMM guitars or basses on his website, or anywhere on the Internet , or by other public communication. [Ed Roman has already removed the link to the EBMM main page on his website and has taken out the negative references to EBMM on the OLP custom page.]

Ed- you missed a few things on this page:
http://www.edromanguitars.com/custom/conversions.htm

-Music Man references in the "Left Handed Conversions" section.
-Music Man reference in the "Double Neck Conversions" section.

Questionable pictures:

I'm just lookin' out for ya, Ed. don't want ya to get in any more trouble than you're already in.

Mr. Welles:
You stated, "4. Ed Roman must post an apology to EBMM and John Petrucci for making and advertising the copy Petrucci guitars and bodies."
Will this be made public and/or online? If so, a link would be appreciated (Ed's site is extremely difficult to navigate).

Thanks!

Those are Steinbergers, not MM. Body designs are somewhat Axis-ish, but those will never be mistaken for an Axis guitar.

Put an FR trem on a Str*t and it's still a Str*t, right?
:)

Nice. It's mine, too.

I, however, have not invented anything nifty like that.

As a player and fan of bergers, ER has always been a problem to me, in terms of parts hoarding and misinformation.

I hope someone with a website gathers all the material about ER into a page called something like: "ED ROMAN, warning to all players". No I am not suggesting the Dude cuz such stuff on a commerce site only reflects badly on the dealer who knocks his competitor [however justified the knocks]. I'm hoping it's an "enthusiast" site.

If such a page is posted with a clear title with ER's name, and we are all provided a link to it, here's what happens: We google the link and open it. If plenty of us do that, Google's software will make it the #1 entry [top of search result page] whenever anyone googles "Ed Roman".

The top of the page is like an incumbent politician. We don't have to keep hitting it to keep it there. The general public tends to check the top listing anyway, so it tends to remain in the #1 spot forever. An extra measure would be to include a few other keywords, such as "Ed Roman, Warning about un-Holy Empire". The added keywords will assure that hoards of school kids also help keep the warning link at the top of the google search results page. Sure the kids have to click it to effect this. The term un-Holy ought to get enuf kiddie kliks to do that ........ >: ->
