Hello, if you can get the serial number, you can submit a request on this forum for information about the guitar.

People often swap pickups in their guitars, so check to see if the original pickups are in there. You want the originals.

Good luck...oh, and the two for sale on the g.c. website are overpriced.

Well, I no longer have mine, so I can't look at the bottoms, but I'd look at the wiring for signs that a swap has been made. People can be pretty sneaky, and these pickups are much desired and only available on ebmm guitars.

what color is it, is the color fading/faded,and what condition is it in? these are the 2 biggest factors in the price. Any pics of it? Tollie is right about the one's on GC's sight too if thats what you're looking at. WAAAAAAAYYYYY overpriced bc they have no idea what they're doing sometimes.

How much? In all reality the guitar is worth about $1800 on the low end and about $2600 on the max high end. There are more Amber Eddies than any.

Welcome to the forum @PStar!

I think Neale is right on. I have been tracking every EBMM EVH listed on eBay since 11/10/2003. Wow, that's a trip... my "anniversary" is tomorrow!

It's only really important to look at the past 1 year, as the market fluctuates over time (and it's a "buyer's market" these days given the ****e economy, etc.). And for the purposes of this discussion, we'll ignore the ones that ended with zero bids or without the reserve being met.

In the past year (11/1/2011 to present), of all EBMM EVH's that *SOLD* on eBay (either via "Best Offer" or by meeting the reserve):

Average price was $2275
Cheapest was: $1059 (for a very faded '91 purple S/N 81197)
Most expensive was: $3925 (for a dead mint Amber Quilt that was basically NOS)

For JUST AMBERS:

Average price was $2365
Cheapest was: $1575
Most expensive was: $3925 (for a dead mint Amber Quilt that was basically NOS)

If we exclude that edge case NOS Dead Mint Amber, for the AVERAGE AMBER MARKET:

Average price was $2016
Cheapest was: $1575
Most expensive was: $2600 (for a rare hardtail S/N 87055)

So Neale (a/k/a @Jackson2112) is dead-on with his recommendation.

One important note: This doesn't include any deals where the seller and buyer did a deal off eBay and ended the auction early. No way I could track those selling prices. They COULD skew the numbers above.

Looks like a nice EVH! Good luck!

-Jeff

Jeff, thank you. This helps.
Not in luv with amber finish, but that is not important as to its playability and tone.
Gonna check it out this weekend.

Any infor. pertaining it to a Silhouette 25th anniversary ?
value ?

thank you for your efforts and time.

You're welcome!

Do you mean a Silhouette 20th Anniversary, or do you mean an EBMM 25th Anniversary (which became the Reflex)?

I haven't tracked auctions for 20th Silh's or for 25th's. I only track EBMM Axis and EVH.
