Any of you guys that play Egnater please give me some insight? I have a Renegade 65 head. I just sold my 4x12 cab so that I could replace it with a 2x12. The 4x12 was just too big for my needs. Anyway, the Tourmaster 2x12 should arrive within a week. Here's my problem: I just sold my Fender Cybertwin SE. I was mainly using it as a practice amp. My music room is on the 3rd floor of my house. I don't want to drag the 2x12 cab & head all the way up 2 flights of stairs to practice. I could, however, purchase a 1x12 cab & keep it upstairs for practice. This would alleviate me from breaking my back every day, lugging my head & 2x12. The 2x12 would "live" downstairs. So, Egnater makes 2 different 1x12 cabs: the rebel and the tweaker. Which one would be a good complement for the Renegade 65 head for practice and as a backup for my 2x12?
Thanks,

Kevin

I've had both and would say that a lot would come down to personal preference. The Rebel cab has more bass than the Tweaker as it's a deeper, closed-back cab. I liked the Tweaker cab as it's brighter and the speaker is a bit sweeter sounding(IMHO).
That said, have you ever looked into other cabs? Avatar makes a nice one and you can get a V30 in there.

Thanks Andrew. Too late, I pulled the trigger on the Rebel 1x12. It's just a practice amp that will live in my upstairs jam room. If I have a really small venue, I'll use it as a back up. Or, if I have a larger outdoor venue, I can use it plus the 2x12. Thanks, bro. How's your job treating you?

Too late? Jeez dude, you just posted this last night!

The job is treating me pretty well. Training scheduling just bought my trip so I got a paid week off. :D How goes it with yours?
